Privacy policy

La Cible is committed to respecting the confidentiality of your personal information and is committed to protecting it and using it only for the purposes for which it was collected. Since we receive certain types of information from individuals, we have developed a privacy policy.

Information collected

Voluntary information: Any information you have provided to us (i. e. name, e-mail address, telephone, home address, etc.) via your resume, application, online application, telephone interview, formal interview, discussion to request information, registration via our website or use of any other part of our website is securely stored in our internal system as well as on our web server. We may use it to provide you with the information you have requested about our company and services, or to provide you with special notices. Non-personally identifiable information: Each time you visit La Cible website, we may collect certain information that does not identify you and that relates to the means you use to access our site. This may include the type of version of your browser, service provider, IP address and any search engine you use to find the site. This information allows us to diagnose problems with our server, administer the website and compile general statistical data. La Cible also collects some navigation data about your movements on our websites. This allows us to determine which parts of the websites are most visited and adapt them to the needs and interests of our online visitors. In addition, this tracking data may be used to tailor the information for you on our sites based on your previous use of the sites and your interests in particular topics.

Disclosure of personal information

La Cible understands the importance of your personal information. We collect the personal information of our candidates and retain it for our own purposes. We do not sell, rent or market this information to third parties except as described below, and never without your consent.

Our business partners: La Cible may share your personal information, always in connection with the purposes for which you communicated it, with all of its current or future business partners (potential employers). The objective remains to work in partnership with you to find the opportunity that will meet all your expectations.

Exceptions

In addition, La Cible may disclose a client’s personal information to the following individuals and organizations:

  1. law enforcement agencies and emergency services in emergency situations, or as required by law or pursuant to a court order;
  2. a company that provides communications or services related to communications directories;
  3. another person who works to develop, improve, market or provide La Cible’s products or services;
  4. an employee or consultant hired by La Cible to conduct research related to a mandate;
  5. a third party or third parties where the client’s consent to such disclosure is required by law.

Business Asset Transfers: If La Cible were to sell or transfer a particular portion of its business assets, consumer information could be an element of that asset transferred as part of the transaction. If substantially all of La Cible’s assets are acquired, consumer information may be transferred as part of the acquisition. La Cible reserves the right to change the Privacy Policy at any time and will notify you by posting an amendment to this effect on its website. The personal information stored in our system, including electronic databases, that you have entrusted to La Cible will be retained throughout your career.
